I’ve been at Predica for over 4 years now, and I currently lead one of our Data teams. At no other job did I have the feeling that what I do has meaning and real value. The meaning of it all happens thanks to the people I work with, the team I get the chance to build. It is because of them that we can do projects of such great quality, while at the same time relying on and supporting each other. The real value is what we deliver to clients in our daily work. My job at Predica is to build up the Business Intelligence domain, generate sales and supervise ongoing projects, both in Big Data and Advanced Analytics. I have enormous freedom in what I do, which at first was a bit challenging. “With freedom comes responsibility” – my colleagues would say. Once I got through the initial struggles, I saw no way back. Now I embrace change, I look for it. The reward is worth any effort – as an individual you have a big influence on how the company works. Do you see something you could improve? No problem – you can turn it upside down, propose new processes supported by policies and eventually see others benefiting from it. When it comes to projects, each one requires a different approach. As a team, we boost creativity to the furthest extent in order to deliver solutions that bring innovation and value for our customers. I’ve had a few different jobs before I joined Predica where I now work as a Marketing Specialist. At first, it was hard for me to get used to a completely new work culture, especially as I’ve spent several years at differently managed companies and industries other than IT. How would I describe this new place? Predica is a company where you can feel freedom, but also responsibility. Responsibility for choosing tasks that matter. But also, for making it happen. The most frequently asked question is “why?” If that wasn’t enough, the unique atmosphere at Predica, created by people who are just so much fun, really complements it for me. Bad weather outside?
