Stoyan Koev

My IT story started when I was 7 years old and saw a computer for the first time – you can say it was love at first sight. It took me another 6 years to get my own computer. As part of the journey, I learned how to assemble and fix computers. From there on IT, and later Cyber Security has become my hobby, passion and eventually my job.

Cyber Security has been part of my professional profile for almost 15 years now, in many aspects and in companies of all types and sizes. From implementing US government mandates post 9/11 attacks to dealing with infrastructure hardening, hacker evictions, security remediation and assessments of all types.

As a Cybersecurity Digital Transformation Lead, I am leading a very talented team of Engineers and Digital Advisors, while also bringing in and delivering different types of Security projects and initiatives. Cyber Security has been and continues to be an ever-evolving and challenging field, which makes it even more exciting and interesting to be part of it!

When I’m not working, I like to spend time with my family. I love mountains. I have spent a good part of my childhood hiking with my parents, and I still enjoy it. I also like playing some old-fashioned computer games.
