I’ve been in the IT industry for over 15 years now. As a kid, I dreamed of growing up to be either a Native American Indian (earlier) or an astronaut (later). Somehow, I ended up getting a BSc degree in Economics and working in IT project management for close to 10 years. During that time, apart from gaining some experience with a bow and arrows, I have obtained a PMP certification. Then, through friendly people, past achievements and a magical arrangement of the stars, I moved into service management. I’ve spent more than 5 years in various roles in this area.
I am an open and honest person who does not usually appreciate nonsense. However, I like to build friendly and trusting relationships both within the company I work at as well as outside of it, with customers and partners. Professionally: I’m the Account Portfolio Manager for one of our biggest customers, and still a project manager at heart with a soft spot for identity management. Privately: I enjoy (team) sports, a good book or movie (mainly in the fantasy genre) but won’t say no to a night out with friends or colleagues either. As for the future and wishes, I guess at least one of my childhood dreams is still an option…
